Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway shared a health update live on-air this morning to explain to viewers why she was "looking a bit emotional".
During today's instalment of the ITV breakfast show, the presenter clarified that her eyes were red due to an infection, though she did joke that it was also "partly" due to England's men's football team securing their spot in the Euro 2024 final this weekend.
"We know not everybody is a footy fan… by the way, if I'm looking a bit emotional this morning, it's partly the football, it's also that I've got a rabid eye infection," she said.
"So I'm wearing my rose-tinted spectacles, so I can see everybody!"
