Lionel Blair has admitted Celebrity Big Brother was "much worse" than its portrayal in Ricky Gervais's Extras.
The 82-year-old entertainer became a fan of the show after appearing in the 2007 Extras Christmas Special, where Andy has a meltdown in the Big Brother house.
However, Lionel said that while Gervais's portrayal of the house was "funny", the reality was "much worse".
He said: "It was much worse than [Extras]! Oh no. That was funny. Ricky was lovely in there and he did this speech about Big Brother and everything. But Big Brother wasn't really like that."
Lionel said that although some viewers may have though he was a "bit boring" as he follows orders, he does have a short temper that came to the fore in his confrontation with Luisa Zissman and Jasmine Waltz.
He said: "When I go, I go. And when I lose my temper because of somebody and it affects the entire house, that annoyed me.

Following his eviction, Lionel suggested that Casey and Jasmine were both playing a game with Lee Ryan.
