Sherlock's Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and Sue Vertue have spoken to Digital Spy about series three.
Gatiss - who has penned series opener 'The Empty Hearse' - gave DS new details on the scene that will see Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) and John (Martin Freeman) reunited.
The trio - speaking at Comic Con 2013 in San Diego - also gave updates on the possibility of a fourth Sherlock series and of a Roger Moore cameo on the show.
Sherlock airs on BBC One in the UK and on PBS in the US.
