Solo Leveling voice actor Aleks Le has teased what fans can expect from Sung Jinwoo going forward.
In a Digital Spy exclusive, he was asked just how strong Jinwoo's hunting powers will get as the anime series progresses.
"When I was a kid, I played a lot of games. Back then, we didn't have save states or anything like that. Or, we didn't have the ability to look up how the character was going to look later on, or how their story was going to end," replied Le.

"So I always erred on the safe side, and was like, 'You know what? I'm going to keep levelling my character up in one particular area – the weakest area or the strongest area. I'll just keep going until I make it to the max level.'
"I guess all I can say is that it's all about the grind," he continued.

"If you're a fan of [role-playing games] and if you're as obsessive as me, then, you know, we're probably going to be grinding for a very long time just to see how cool the character can get."

Meanwhile, Le also referenced the significance of episode four's snake venom, which Jinwoo is too wary of using at the moment.
"I'm just going to say that all items are useful," he told DS, before discussing his character's bravery.
"I actually find a lot of points with Jinwoo that I kind of relate to. And when you're growing up, despite those hardships and anything like that, when you carry yourself outwardly to the people you meet – not everyone is initially receptive of you and your background, or where you may have come from," he said.
"The general rule of thumb is: no matter how hard the world has screwed you over, you try to be brave through it all. Sometimes when you are comfortable with somebody, and you can finally open up, for the most part, I feel like it's a good idea – just purely survival, which is what we're talking about with Solo Leveling – for somebody to just try to let kindness guide them through especially hard times."
Solo Leveling is available to watch weekly on Crunchyroll.
