Solo Leveling episode 4 spoilers follow.

Solo Leveling voice actor Aleks Le has spoken about the Golem fight that took place in episode 4, which is one of the most memorable moments to come from the anime so far.

The Persona 3 Reload and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero star plays lead character Jin-woo, a man with superhuman powers who fights to save the world from monsters, with the specifics reminiscent of role-playing games.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Aleks Le explained that he believes it's one of the character-defining moments for Jin-woo.

"I think in that episode, that's the true self-discovery episode for me," he said. "It was such a great episode to see, and to go through all of those trials with the Instant Dungeon. I think, in my opinion, he hasn't really grasped how strong he's gotten yet...

"Initially, he wasn't all too fazed about the situation, but he saw his friend Joo-hee, who is a healer – she was there. He was like, 'Oh, I should probably help.'

"I think that after he killed that monster, the beast, he was like, 'That wasn’t me. I didn't do that.' He walked away. He was like, 'Oh, they probably weakened him up. I probably just did the final blow or whatever.' I think he didn't really understand how strong he'd gotten yet. So he was like, 'There's no way that was me.' That’s why he's like, 'I'll just leave.'

"He's still very humble at this point of the story."

Solo Leveling premieres new episodes on Sundays on Crunchyroll.
