Ghosts has revealed what happened to Taskmaster star Bridget Christie's missing ghost.
The episode, 'Speak as ye choose', shed new light on Christie's character Annie, a ghost who'd previously crossed paths with Mary (Katy Wix) when she haunted Button House.

Viewers got to revisit some of the ghosts' death scenes through Mary and Annie's eyes during the time they were causing trouble together in the mansion.

Mary even told Julian Fawcett MP (Simon Farnaby) that it was Annie who'd taught her how to yell at humans, since they can't hear her anyway!
The episode revealed Annie has been missing from the past few series', despite having such a huge impact on Mary's life, because she was eventually granted passage to the afterlife.

This might be the only visit from Annie because series co-creator and star Jim Howick recently told Digital Spy that the Ghosts team have an "endgame" in sight for the show.
"I think as the show's grown, it's inevitable that you start thinking about, you know, 'shelf life' and standards – more than anything keeping to a good standard.
"Also, I think it's just the nature of a storyteller, you know? We're all kind of storytellers and I think it's the nature of a storyteller to think of the climax and an ending. But that said, there's nothing definite, yet. It's just in our bank."
