Ricky Gervais has revealed that he plans to create a Chinese version of The Office.
The comedian and star of the UK Office said that he is "about to start work" on the project.
Gervais wrote on his blog: "I have some amazing news… We are about to start work on developing a Chinese The Office.
"How cool is that?"
The 49-year-old was quoted as saying he had earned "millions" from the syndication rights to the sitcom and royalties from its US remake.
