We’re in the middle of our third heatwave of the year, and with autumn still a long time away, it’s probably an easy bet to assume that we have more warm days ahead of us.
We want ways to cool us down, fast, and with that in mind, we’ve pulled together some great deals - from kitchenware to personal care - to stop us overheating and help us get through the hot weather in one piece. All of these products are easy to order and can be delivered the following day (subject to charges).
Best fans during a heatwave
For a comprehensive list of our top tested fans, read our full review of fans to buy in a heatwave. If you're in a hurry, we've highlighted two favourites which are still in stock.
If you're looking for a reliable travel-sized electric fan, our favourite is the Jsdoin Portable Handheld Fan.
There's five speeds for a wide range level of breeze, and sound is discreet enough that it won't impose on your day. We love the foldable handle, which converts this fan from an on-the-go device to a gadget that happily sits on your desk (or, for us, sitting on a train table when the air con has failed).
If you need something stronger at home, the SwitchBot Standing Circulator Fan is still in stock and available on next day delivery for Prime members on Amazon.

With nine speeds, there's plenty of control over how cool you want to be. Speaking of control, this fan has a remote - enabling you to adjust the settings, add a timer, and switch it off without you having to get up (because the less energy we exert right now, the better).
Best cooling products to buy
Never underestimate a cheap and cheerful method to staying cool at night. Pillow pads are a cost-effective way to lower the temperature without requiring any devices and ease that uncomfortable hot-head feeling that can prevent you from falling asleep. The gel filling stays soft even when refrigerating, so it doesn't feel hard and uncomfortable during use.
Digital Spy’s Helen Pike swears by this £8.99 2-pack from Amazon as a fuss-free method to making bedtime more comfortable, and speeds up the falling asleep process. When not in use, keep them in the fridge. Then, 30 minutes before going to bed, slip them in your pillowcase.
If you're looking for a similar effect when you're out and about, then the Vakki Cool Towel could be your solution.
Made from bamboo, this scarf-shaped towel comes in its own bottle and retains a chill for a good couple of hours. If you're feeling overheated, you can place the fabric where you need it – the back of the neck is a classic area – and it'll help give you an instant cooling effect.
Best air fryers in a heatwave deals
If you’re bored of salad but can’t bear the thought of turning on the oven or hob, the air fryer is your friend. Quick to cook and pumping out a lot less heat, you can serve up a decent dinner without breaking into a sweat.
Ninja remains a brand which creates reliable air fryers that can tackle many other cooking jobs, and Amazon's Ninja deals aren't always reserved for Prime Day and Black Friday. There's currently 25% off Ninja's Max Dual Zone Air Fryer, reduced to £179.99.
If you're looking for an air fryer under £100, we've spied the Philips Dual Basket Air Fryer 1000 Series with a half-price discount for a limited time on Amazon.
The compact, dual-drawer design means you can cook multiple foods without taking up too much kitchen space.
Best ice cream and slushie makers in a heatwave deals
If there's one brand which masters the art of making ice cream and frozen drinks, it's Ninja. Its direct website has a series of discounts across bundles and if you're quick, you can take advantage of some serious savings.
From ice creams to milkshakes and everything in between, the Ninja Ice Cream & Frozen Dessert Maker, £177.99 (reduced from £225.98), is a smaller version of the Ninja Creami Swirl, and while it can't create soft serves, it's able to serve up plenty of different desserts, and this particular deal comes with six tubs (usually the appliances come with a maximum of two), so you'll never run low of food options.
Best water bottles in a heatwave
Wanting your cold water to stay cold isn't too much to ask, but there are plenty of bottles out there that don't have the insulation required to keep water at a chilled temperature. Two brands that get our seal of approval are Thermos and Stanley. While they're both investment brands, each bottle has a strong mechanism with minimal room for leaks or damage.
The blue edition of the 1.2L Stanley Cup is currently reduced by 40%, while the smaller edition – 0.89L – has a 24% price cut.
Both sizes have an insulated interior which keeps any cold drink at the same temperature for several hours, with Stanley claiming that iced drinks can stay cold up to 40 hours.
If you prefer your bottle fully closed, no straw, then the Thermos Super Light Drink Flask, name-checked in our list of favourite travel-friendly gadgets, is a great option.
The flip-lock is easy to manage and ensures no leakages, while cold drinks can remain cold for up to 24 hours. It may feel like a long way off, but once winter hits, this Thermos can also keep your hot drinks at an optimum temperature for up to six hours, giving you extra use, all year round.
