The Sims 4 has confirmed a new kit in collaboration with popular content creator Lilsimsie.
Releasing on January 16, the Comfy Gamer Kit features a range of gaming-themed Build/Buy items for Sims to enjoy, including a dual-monitor gaming computer set-up, a gaming controller, and a new desk.
Other items shown in promotional images include headphones, a desk chair, a hanging plant with a cowplant in it, and an LED sign.

"We started working on this in the beginning of 2024, so it's been an entire year," Lilsimsie said on her YouTube channel.
"The pack is obviously gaming room-inspired. It's kind of like my office-inspired. I was trying to think about the sort of gaming spaces that we have, that Sims players have, and we don't have clutter and decor to kind of reflect that.

January 16 will also see the release of two other kits containing a mix of Create-a-Sim and Build/Buy items.
The Secret Sanctuary Kit features "lavish furniture" and "timeless fashion", while the Casanova Cave Kit includes "just what your Sims need to entertain and make an impression, whether it's game night with friends or a romantic date night".
On February 4, to mark the franchise's 25th anniversary, the base game will receive an update, delivering more than 70 new items for free.
These include new hairstyles, clothing items, accessories, furniture, windows, and doors.
On the same day, a new limited-time event titled 'Blast from the Past' will begin. By completing Live Mode objectives, Simmers will be able to claim rewards inspired by the 2000s, including milk cartons, triple-tiered birthday cake, and an inflatable chair.
