What gaming deals to expect for Amazon Big Deal Days 2024
Last Prime Day, Amazon discounted the PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Console to £449.99, which was £30 off the usual £479 price, so we may similar price drops for this sale, especially with the newly announced PlayStation Pro console coming in November.
The PlayStation 5 portable handheld remote player the PlayStation Portal, was also discounted by over £20 off after being reduced from £199.99 to £179.
Other really good deals included the Xbox Series S digital console getting a price cut, with a early deal currently offering £20 off.

The PS5 Pro console has now also been officially announced with a release date set for November 7, 2024 priced at £699.99, but at time of writing it's not available at Amazon and can only be pre-ordered at PlayStation Direct.

Xbox Series X|S deals for Prime Day 2024
We've seen some good discounts on Xbox games and consoles in the past, and with a bunch of games available on Xbox Game Pass like Starfield, now might be the time to get an Xbox.

Amazon Prime Day 2024 – What – and when – is Amazon's Prime Day sale?
Amazon Prime Day is an annual online sale where the retailer discounts and cuts prices on thousands of products, providing some of the best deals and offers on pretty much everything imaginable.
Prime Day happens in July every year, with this year's event taking place on July 16 and July 17, however Amazon host another sale Bid Deal Days every year too which sees products get discounted for two days, with this year's happening on Tuesday October 8 and Wednesday October 9.
Some early deals, including on Alexa-enabled Echo devices, usually go live first and are available to all – although a number of headline offers will only be available to members of Amazon's Prime service.
