Tane enjoys spending the day with Archie and takes him to the beach for the first time. Eliza then discovers that Archie is at the Surf Club and gets frustrated when Tane won't let her hold the baby. Making matters worse, Eliza shows Tane the video she filmed of Harper giving birth. Tane challenges the teen, asking whether she thought she was filming a birth or a death.
Tane's next stop is to visit Mackenzie, who enjoys bonding with the baby. Once Tane has left, Mackenzie pulls out a pregnancy test…
Meanwhile, Alf starts to feel unwell and asks Eliza to grab his pills from inside the bait shop. Eliza pockets the pills and lies to Alf, claiming that she couldn't find them. As Alf gets confused and agitated in this concerning state, will Eliza continue to withhold the pills that could save his life?
Elsewhere, an overworked Mali refuses help from Abigail and Kirby. They brainstorm ways to get through to him and mislead him into visiting Kirby's house, by falsely claiming that Kirby is deeply hurt by his short temper earlier on. Finally, Mali admits that it's been a struggle to run the surf shop on his own and he agrees that Abigail can help out for a while.
