Cash is summoned to deal with a brawl outside the Surf Club. He places Gage – the ringleader of the group – under arrest. Lacey tries to defend Gage but when Eden speaks up, Cash pulls her away and points out that the group are dangerous River Boys.
At the police station, Cash clashes with Gage, who makes things personal by bringing up Cash's late sister Felcity. Cash doesn't get much information, but he's determined to learn more about recent reports of illegal street racing involving the River Boys.
Theo recognises Lacey from Gage's warehouse and takes her for a drink, where there's obvious chemistry between them. Gage then approaches Sonny and Theo with another job. The quick cash is too difficult to turn down, especially as Sonny is still hoping to pay Remi back.

At the tracks, Gage learns that one of his drivers has backed out. Theo volunteers himself up as a replacement and goes head-to-head with another driver. After a close race, Theo is victorious. He then finds an opportunity to sneak away with Lacey, where they finally give into the passion between them.
Meanwhile, Justin catches Marilyn as she impersonates Roo on the phone, trying to secure information about Eliza's past. Later, Marilyn tells Leah and Justin that she visited Eliza's former foster parents. They told her that they suspect Eliza started the fire that destroyed their home.
