At the bikie headquarters, Tane is escorted by security to speak with Marty and Tex. He claims that the new bookkeeper, Genevieve, is drawing suspicion from the gym members.
Desperately searching Summer Bay for Tane, Nikau and Felicity fear the worst. But Nikau remembers their phone tracking app and searches for Tane's phone.
When Cash arrives back from his confrontation with Jasmine, it's straight to business. To Felicity's terror, Cash commands her to come to the police station. When she resists, Cash takes her under arrest. Cash's only consolation to Felicity is that it's for her own good. An alarmed Felicity is left in the dark, in a police cell.

Outside the bikie headquarters, Rose and Cash are set up inside an undercover police van with headphones on. Tane is secretly wearing a wire and discussing the money laundering with Marty and Tex.
Rose waits for the confirmation they need – Marty and Tex are being tight-lipped, suspicious of Tane's questions. Just as it seems like Marty is going to play ball, Nikau shows up, derailing Tane's plan. Out in the van, Cash and Rose reel – Nikau arriving wasn't part of the plan.
After Nikau's rejection, Dean goes to the police station to speak with a detained Felicity. Trapped and unable to help, Felicity tells Dean about the bikie situation, hoping he can help.
A tense stand-off ensues between the Paratas and the bikies. Since Nikau's arrival, Marty is less inclined to discuss business with Tane – jeopardising the police sting operation outside. Cash warns that it's too dangerous, but Rose is desperate to get an admission of laundering so she can bust Tex and the bikie gang.
Humiliated, Rose is forced to listen as the bikies discuss Tex's 'cop girlfriend'. A vulnerable Cash understands how she feels – he just got dumped by the woman he was going to propose to.
Tane's persistence pays off, as Marty explains the details of the laundering operation. Rose commands the task force to raid the property, as they've got what they need now. As police vehicles come screaming into the bikie headquarters, Cash runs in, forgetting to don his bulletproof vest in the urgency.
The bikies go into panic, trying to flee the scene, but the armed task force police get them on the ground. As Rose is arresting Tex, Marty runs off with Cash in hot pursuit.
Rose's satisfaction at Tex's arrest turns to horror when she hears two gunshots in the distance. Screaming for an ambulance, Rose discovers Cash bleeding on the ground, shot in the abdomen. Further along, Marty lays dead on the ground, gun in hand. Terrified, Rose tries to reassure a weary Cash, stifling his bleeding gun wound with her hands.
