Alex's love story with Willow Harris (Sarah Roberts) will come to an emotional conclusion, as Zoe Ventoura's guest stint on the show reaches its end.
Alex is moving away from Summer Bay to take on a new job, as her locum contract covering for Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) at the Northern Districts Hospital is over.
This led to heartbreak for Willow, who didn't want to lose Alex but also didn't want to leave the Bay for a new life.
