Hollyoaks villain Edward Hutchinson hatches a new plan to win over Diane tonight (September 15).
Edward (Joe McGann) is refusing to give up on the possibility of a relationship with Diane after successfully sabotaging her marriage to his son Tony.
In Tuesday's E4 first look episode, Diane (Alex Fletcher) is still understandably angry after Tony tried to convince her to pursue things with Edward after their own break-up.
Diane is still adamant that she has her own mind – and has now decided that she doesn't want to be with either of the Hutchinsons.

Edward is dismayed by Diane's decision but decides that his daughter Verity (Eva O'Hara) is the perfect person to fight his corner.
Approaching Verity at home, Edward urges her to put in a good word for him with Diane, believing this could make all the difference.
Verity refuses to get involved in the situation, sensing that she's better off out of it.
Never one to back down easily, Edward uses emotional blackmail to get Verity to do his dirty work. But will this have any impact on Diane?

Elsewhere in the village tonight, Goldie McQueen and Joel Dexter both try to match-make Cher Winters and Romeo Nightingale.
Also ahead, Juliet Nightingale confronts Jordan Price about two-timing Leela and Peri Lomax, but is terrified when he introduces her to his dangerous boss Victor Brothers.
Hollyoaks airs these scenes tonight (September 15) at 7pm on E4 and tomorrow (September 16) at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
