Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has revealed his ambitions to star in a British drama.
The actor told The Mirror about his dreams beyond the ITV soap, where he plays farmer Andy Sugden.
"I've got a long list of ambitions. There's so much good British drama being produced at the minute that I would like to be part of that in the near future," he said.
"That's definitely one box I want to tick. I just can't believe I've been in Emmerdale for 17 years."
He added: "Millions have seen me grow up on TV. I still cringe when I see those early pictures."
Fletcher's character is currently at the centre of a dramatic storyline which sees him face losing the use of his arm after an accident on the farm.
