Emmerdale villain DI Malone underestimates Dawn Taylor tonight (August 14) as he tries to scare her off.
When Malone (Mark Womack) pays another visit to the village, he finds himself in a row with Dawn over his affair with Harriet Finch.
Earlier this week, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) was horrified to realise that her father Will has been betrayed by Harriet.
In Friday's episode, Dawn continues to put pressure on Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) to come clean with Will about her affair with Malone.

Dawn has threatened to tell Will herself if Harriet doesn't do so, and the village vicar is shocked to realise that she's being entirely serious with her ultimatum.
Later, Malone reappears to find out whether Dawn plans to rock the boat or keep quiet about what she knows.
Dawn is furious to see Malone hanging around again, prompting a furious row.
Keen as ever to stay in control, Malone reminds Dawn that he's a dangerous person to have as an enemy.

The dodgy detective even goes as far as threatening Dawn's young son Lucas, leaving her terrified.
Although Dawn is scared, she decides that she can't be intimidated by Malone and heads down to the police station to make a stand.
Approaching PC Swirling, Dawn reveals that she'd like to report a corrupt policeman. With the allegation made, Dawn realises there's no going back now – but how will Malone react when word gets back to him?
