The day of Nigel's funeral arrives but Grant is distracted by Mark's disappearance. Grant then receives a call from Russell, who wants the full payment to be made. The situation gets worse when Russell overhears Sam in the background, as they have history.
Phil is adamant that Nigel's funeral can't be overshadowed, so they'll deal with Russell afterwards.
However, despite agreeing to go after the funeral, Phil, Grant, Sam and Billy decide to find Mark immediately. After a tense stand-off, the Mitchells return to Walford.
Everyone gathers at the church, where the funeral is emotional tribute to Nigel's life. Afterwards, Julie and Phil share a heartfelt moment – but Sam soon interrupts and demands some alone time for the Mitchell siblings.
