Jack lies to DS Spencer about his whereabouts on the night of the shooting, but this sparks further questioning from Denise. Ravi is also called in for questioning, but he makes a very risky move by lying that Jack is his alibi as they were together.
Jack tells his colleagues that he was trying to recruit Ravi as an informant. He then agrees with Ravi that they'll get rid of the gun, but he ends up having a change of heart when DS Spencer arrives.
Meanwhile, Nigel gets upset when he realises that he's to blame for the chickens being killed by foxes. He's also suspicious over Julie's mysterious phone call, which she claims is related to a possible job. In the end, an overwhelmed Nigel asks Phil to take him away to the countryside for a day trip.
Elsewhere, rumours continue to spread around Walford following the dramatic events of Zoe's return.
