EastEnders spoilers follow.
Linda Carter has returned to drinking alcohol in her latest EastEnders setback.
Ever since returning to the Square earlier this month, Linda has struggled to maintain her sobriety as her estranged husband Mick Carter has carried on a new relationship with Janine Butcher in front of her.
Once Mick and Janine took Ollie away on a holiday, Linda ended up back behind the bar of the Vic — but was tested once again in Wednesday's (April 27) episode now that they were back.

Janine continued to play mind games with her romantic rival by insinuating to Mick that Linda working at the pub could be a safeguarding issue for their son Ollie.

After Nancy and Zack shared the big news that they'd found a potential spot for their restaurant, Janine twisted the knife by popping a bottle of champagne right in Linda's face.
Seeing Janine celebrate with her family over a bottle of champagne was too much for Linda, leading her to sneak a drink of alcohol outside.
Little did Linda know that Mick would become unhappy with the way Janine was conducting this new relationship. He'd heard from Billy that Janine was being entirely too open about their sex life (or lack thereof).
Mick surprised Janine by demanding she no longer discuss the intimate details of their relationship with others from now on — leaving Janine worried about things already taking a turn for the worse.
Soap bosses have confirmed that Janine will consider leaving Walford with her daughter Scarlett in upcoming scenes. Can Janine actually give up on Mick so soon?
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
