EastEnders star Max Bowden has reason to celebrate this weekend, with two nominations at the upcoming Inside Soap Awards.
Digital Spy can exclusively reveal that Max has made it through to the shortlist at this year's ceremony following a strong show of support in the voting.
The actor, who plays Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap, has made it to the final four in the hotly-contested Best Newcomer category.
He has also secured a place in the top four for the Best Bad Boy prize – perhaps no surprise after some of Ben's antics this year.

EastEnders star Max took over the role of Ben at the start of the year and has featured in huge storylines, including Ben's vendetta against dad Phil, several beatings from enemies, and his unexpected romantic chemistry with Callum Highway.

Fans can see who Max is up against in both categories when the full shortlist for the Inside Soap Awards is announced on Tuesday (October 1).
The annual awards confirmed its longlist at the start of July, with soap viewers voting in their droves to support the stars of Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Neighbours, Home and Away, Holby City and Casualty.

As there isn't a second round of voting, all viewers can do now is sit tight and keep their fingers crossed for their favourites on the night.
This year's Inside Soap Awards take place on Monday, October 7 in central London and Digital Spy will be providing full coverage of the event as usual, with winners announcements, pictures and red carpet chats.
