Karen is preparing to host a Boxing Day family meal, with Kandice on the guest list, but there's a distraction when Mitch returns and asks to see Keegan. Karen isn't happy to see Mitch and sends him away.
Later on, during the meal, Karen is shocked to realise that Kandice has intervened and hidden Mitch away in the bathroom. How will Keegan feel about seeing his father again?
Meanwhile, Keanu has his own distraction during the family meal when he receives a voicemail from Sharon. There's another surprise for Keanu when Louise tries to kiss him, but he decides to respond.
Elsewhere, as Kim returns home with the baby, Denise realises that her sister is struggling without Vincent.
