Coronation Street schemer Carl Webster confronts nervous Tyrone Dobbs next week after he becomes suspicious that the shifty mechanic is hiding something from him. Since coming out of hospital, Carl has wasted no time in getting back to his meddling ways – and that continues next week as he causes more trouble.
As Tyrone enjoys a quiet pint in the pub, villainous Carl approaches him and menacingly tells him that he can see the fear in his eyes.

Taunting his new target further, Carl then vows to get to the bottom of it…
"Carl and Tyrone have hated each other ever since Tyrone discovered that Carl was to blame for last year's hit-and-run," our Weatherfield informant reminds us.

Viewers recently saw the first signs that Tyrone is up to no good, as he refused to back up Summer Spellman's story over her movements on the night of Theo Silverton's murder.
Summer told the police that Theo threatened her in a scary showdown at the flat that he shared with Todd Grimshaw. However, she added that Theo let her go and he was alive when she left.

Flashback scenes appeared to verify Summer's version of events – but things got complicated when she added that Tyrone had seen her leave and had also spotted Theo staring from the upstairs window.
When questioned by DS Connor-Swain, Tyrone denied all knowledge of this but Summer insisted that he was lying.
