Next week on Coronation Street, Gary receives a ransom demand as Kelly is held captive.

Elsewhere, Phill refuses to give up on Fiz, while Yasmeen tries to help Stu find his daughter.

1. Gary receives a worrying threat

Kelly is held captive in a basement by kidnapper Kieron, who makes it clear that he wants the rest of Rick's money.

Kieron calls Gary from Kelly's phone, demanding £50,000 if he wants to ever see her alive again.

2. Kelly sees Gary's dark side

Gary hands over £24,000 to Kieron and Ross, but they're angry to not receive the full amount that they'd demanded. They reiterate their threats to harm Kelly if Gary doesn't pay up soon.

Later, Gary makes his way into the cellar where Kelly is being held captive, explaining that he found her location by planting a tracking device in the bag of money.

Kieron arrives with a crowbar and tries to stop the pair from leaving, but as a violent fight ensues, Kelly is shocked when she sees just how far Gary is willing to go.

3. Kelly quizzes Gary on what happened

Once Kelly is back home safe, she quizzes Gary about how he was seemingly prepared to kill Kieron during their showdown.

A nervous Gary plays down what happened, insisting that he just wanted to protect her.

4. Aadi gets another chance with Kelly

Aadi catches up with Kelly after her kidnap ordeal meant that she didn't turn up for their planned date.

Kelly apologises and leaves Aadi delighted when she reveals that she'd like to try again.

5. Aggie stands up to Debbie

Debbie realises that she may struggle to fund a compensation payout for Ed, who suffered a nasty electric shock while fixing a radiator at the hotel. Debbie tells Ronnie that Ray had cancelled the professional indemnity insurance.

When Debbie tries to reach a private settlement and arrives at the hospital with a cheque, Aggie insists that it's not enough.

Later in the week, Debbie makes a second attempt at settling by promising Ed £30,000 in compensation. Aggie warns that she has just two weeks to pay up.

6. Wendy visits Ken

Wendy confides in Abi about her history with Ken. Abi encourages her to make amends with Ken, promising to keep Tracy distracted for a while.

Ken is stunned when he comes face-to-face with Wendy again, but their conversation is interrupted when Tracy makes her way back home. Tracy is ready for another row with Wendy, but will Ken stick up for his old flame?

7. Phill refuses to give up on Fiz

Phill is intrigued to learn that Fiz loves a man in uniform. Still determined to win her back, he visits the factory while dressed up as Richard Gere from An Officer and a Gentleman.

When Phill tries to lift Fiz up, he injures his back and ends up in hospital. Realising that he's no further closer to wooing Fiz, Phill promises that he'll sign the annulment forms.

8. Fiz's predicament gets more complicated

Fiz is flabbergasted when Phill changes his mind again, asking her to join him at a couple's therapy session. To make matters more complicated, the therapist turns out to be the same one that Fiz and Tyrone are seeing.

The therapist isn't impressed by Fiz and Tyrone's lies and deceit. The farcical situation looks set to come to a head when Phill realises that he has forgotten his phone and returns to the therapist to retrieve it, just as Fiz and Tyrone are in the room.

9. Frank starts to resent Dylan

Frank finally meets Sean's son Dylan, but it becomes clear that they have nothing in common. Todd watches the awkward situation unfold, sensing that Frank is not comfortable.

Later in the week, Sean convinces Frank to join him as he watches Dylan play in a football match. Although Frank agrees, he isn't pleased about having to make the effort with the schoolboy.

10. Audrey gets a surprise

Audrey is unenthusiastic when her family surprise her with a birthday meal. The Platts persist with another surprise, revealing that they've signed a rental agreement with Debbie and the old salon will now be Audrey's again.

Later, Gail calls Audrey to check on her. Audrey is now lying in a hospital bed, but doesn't tell Gail what's going on.

11. Yasmeen decides to help Stu

Stu reflects on some family holidays from the past. Yasmeen sees how much Stu is struggling over not having a relationship with his daughter, so she encourages him to track her down.

Later, Yasmeen tells Zeedan that she's planning to do her own detective work to find out where Stu's daughter is.

12. Abi reveals she's coming home

ITV

As Kevin prepares for Abi's latest visit home with Alfie, he refuses to help Jack with his leavers' presentation speech as he doesn't have time. Jack can't help feeling left out.

Later, Abi arrives with Alfie and reveals that they should be able to move back home permanently together next week. Kevin is thrilled that his family is finally getting back on track.
