Coronation Street newcomer Scott Emberton finally arouses suspicion next week with his overprotective behaviour towards Carla Connor.
Scott has been at the centre of a major soap mystery since arriving on the cobbles in April, but so far only Johnny knows that there's more to him than meets the eye.
Next week, Peter (Chris Gascoyne) admits that his sister Tracy isn't happy with Carla for buying Amy some expensive trainers.
Poking his nose in, Scott criticises Peter and claims that he should have avoided this situation by taking the rap for Carla (Alison King).

The conversation leaves Peter unsettled, so he tries to find out more about Scott.
Peter speaks to Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) in order to find out her opinion of Scott. He also questions what Scott's intriguing history with Johnny might be.
Jenny is too distracted by Johnny's ongoing absence from the cobbles, so she doesn't react well to Peter's questioning.
The Rovers landlady insists that her only concern is that Scott continues as he currently is – a model B&B guest who pays his bill promptly. Will Peter drop the issue or search for answers elsewhere?

Johnny made a sudden departure with Jenny in April following Scott's arrival at the pub. There is a mysterious connection between Johnny and Scott, which hasn't yet been revealed to viewers. Scott also committed an attack against two of Carla's enemies more recently.
When Jenny returned to Weatherfield from France last week, she revealed that Johnny had opted to stay abroad for longer.
Tom Roberts, who plays Scott, told Inside Soap earlier this year: "It's obvious Johnny fears Scott – he thought this guy was out of his life forever and now he's turned up at his B&B.
"Scott has this jovial, sunny personality and he greets Johnny as though he's really pleased to see him, but there are things underneath that haven't yet come to the surface."
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, June 15 and Friday, June 17 at 7.30pm on ITV.
