The Society star Kathryn Newton has swapped one scary teen world for another as she stars in the first trailer for new horror movie Freaky.
The film takes the classic body-swap trope and gives it a scary twist, with unpopular high school student Millie (Newton) inadvertently swapping bodies with a deranged serial killer dubbed the Blissfield Butcher (Vince Vaughn) after he stabs her.
Millie wakes up in the killer's body after seemingly being murdered and tracks down her best friends to seek their help. After finally managing to convince them that she really is Millie, the trio realise that the killer is now in Millie's body and the change hasn't made him any less bloodthirsty.

Millie discovers that if she doesn't manage to swap back into her own body after 24 hours have passed then the change will become permanent, so she and her friends set out to force a swap back.
But with the Butcher terrorising the school in his new body, will the friends be able to stop him? It doesn't help that Millie now looks like the most famous wanted killer in town and needs to stay hidden...

Freaky is currently due for release in November.
Newton's Netflix show The Society sadly won't be returning for new episodes after the streaming service cancelled the show, after it had previously renewed it for a second season following a big cliffhanger at the end of season one.
Netflix explained that the decision was made due to "circumstances created by COVID" and said that it was "disappointed" to be axing the show.
The mystery drama followed a group of teenagers who are transported to a version of their own town minus any adults, where they have to create a new order and alliances in order to survive.
