Robert Downey Jr will be suiting up as Iron Man again for Spider-Man: Homecoming, but it looks like Michael Keaton isn't joining in on the fun after all.

Marvel's longest-lasting leading man has inked a deal to bring Tony Stark aboard Tom Holland's first solo outing as the web-slinger.

Downey hinted at a possible crossover last week, after Marvel Studios confirmed that some of its superheroes besides Spidey would appear in Homecoming.

Batman star Michael Keaton had also been rumoured for a potential villain role in the Marvel movie, although according to Deadline, he has now apparently dropped out.
