After this year's Oscars, we thought we'd seen it all - but no, apparently not.

Last night's Goldene Kamera awards in Germany managed to take absurdity one step further - we're talking a fake Ryan Gosling.

When La La Land was announced as winner of best international film, a man who looks kind of like the dreamy Mr Gosling accepted the award.

And the audience that seated the likes of Nicole Kidman, Jane Fonda and Colin Farrell couldn't have looked more confused.

Seeing as the musical's director Damien Chazelle couldn't be there, the ceremony opted for the best next thing, with presenter Steven Gaetjen saying: "The director couldn't be here today, but someone else agreed to take the award, and we are so glad because he is the reason the movie is a success.

"And he is one of the hottest stars in Hollywood... Men hold onto your wives, and wives hold onto your men... Here is the one and only Ryan Gosling!"

(Ryan Gosling... we think)

If viewers hadn't realised something was up already, the fake Gosling's words really should have revealed the truth.

"Good evening," Ludwig Lehner (actually a chef from Munich) said to the puzzled crowd. "I am Ryan Gosling."

He proceeded to dedicate the award to "Joko and Klaus", and finished with: "There is a saying in Hamburg... bye bye."

It then got even more awkward when Ludwig walked off the stage and the audience attempted a round of an applause (if you can even call it that).

Turns out comedians Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf were responsible for the awkward joke, with the aim of recreating their very own Oscar Best Picture embarrassment. Full marks for creating embarrassment, guys.

And we definitely would like to know where we can get our hands on a man who looks just like Ryan Gosling 😍.
