Gird your loins, ladies and gentlemen – a brand new edition of EL James' Fifty Shades Darker is heading for release.
We might not have needed it, nor even wanted it, but the second instalment of the infamous Fifty Shades trilogy is being retold from Christian Grey's perspective.
We can't wait to find out if he has an inner goddess or not.

Following on from James' 2015 novel Grey – which was almost as hilarious as its predecessors – Darker will be released this November. Just in time for Christmas, then.
Promising that the new material will be "compelling", author EL James said of the new release: "The inside of Christian's head is a pretty daunting place to be.

Fortunately for Fifty Shades fans, there's also another film to look forward to – Fifty Shades Freed – and true to form, it's hitting cinemas next Valentine's Day. Because romance isn't dead, after all.
The first full trailer was teased to UK fans last month, showing all sorts of steamy clinches and the high drama we've come to expect from the series.
"How long will this hideous overwhelming feeling last?" we hear you ask, like Anastasia Steele. For a while yet it seems.
Darker will hit shelves November 28. Fifty Shades Freed will be released in cinemas on February 14, 2018.
