Wicked's upcoming musical special has landed in the UK. The two-hour show, which has been described as a "once-in-a-lifetime" event, is available to watch now.

Wicked: One Wonderful Night is set to air on Saturday at 8pm on Sky Showcase, but fans can stream it right now on Sky and NOW.

The musical extravaganza will feature cast reunions between stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who play leads Elphaba and Glinda, alongside Michelle Yeoh (Madame Morrible), Jeff Goldblum (The Wizard of Oz), Ethan Slater (Boq), Bowen Yang (Pfannee) and Marissa Bode (Nessarose). Fans can also expect director Jon M Chu and composer Stephen Schwartz alongside further "surprise guests".

One Wonderful Night was filmed at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre, and is teased to feature "electrifying performances" of musical numbers, including dance numbers, accompanied by a 37-piece live orchestra.

Fans have been promised "an unforgettable night of reimagined musical arrangements, cast interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive surprises and maybe even a sneak peek at what’s to come in the next chapter of Oz".

Meanwhile, Chu has opened up about cutting a recap of 'Defying Gravity' from the end of the first movie at the start of For Good.

Recalling a test screening, he told Collider: "What I found out is we don't need it. We don't need to go back. I thought people needed to be reminded of the feelings of that relationship before coming into this relationship, where they're not together anymore, but after that screening, I was like, 'Oh, we just want to jump in. People are on it with us'."

Wicked: For Good is released in cinemas on 21 November.
