The soundtrack for Wicked: For Good has been revealed, confirming how it will differ from the musical.
Announcing the release date for the upcoming soundtrack today (17 September), the highly-anticipated sequel has confirmed the album's tracklist, revealing what songs will be featured in the new film.
Stephen Schwartz has penned two new songs for Wicked: For Good, which will see stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande take on solo numbers.
The new additions, titled 'No Place Like Home' and 'The Girl in the Bubble', will be performed by Erivo and Grande, respectively.
These brand new songs have never been heard before and were written exclusively for the film, meaning they did not feature in the original Broadway musical.

As well as the all-new numbers, the soundtrack also includes a retitled intro song with 'Every Day More Wicked'.
While this is not a song title from the original musical, the phrase "every day, more wicked" does feature in Act II of the stage show's title song 'Thank Goodness', so is likely to be a rewrite.
If you were hoping to catch any of the new hits ahead of the film's release, you're out of luck as the soundtrack is slated for release on 21 November, the same day as Wicked: For Good's theatrical release.

Speaking about the soundtrack, Schwartz said in a statement: "I’m especially happy that the soundtrack album for Wicked: For Good has so much new music on it.
"In addition to two brand new songs, there is a lot that’s new in several other existing songs. So not only listeners coming to the score for the first time, but long-time fans of the original Broadway cast album, will have a great deal to discover."
As well as receiving a digital release, the new album will get a physical media release in the form of a CD, a two-LP vinyl set and a double picture-disc LP.
Wicked: For Good is released in cinemas on 21 November.
