M3GAN 2.0 has now danced its way into cinemas, bringing everybody's favourite sassy killer robot back into our lives.

Assuming it's as much of a hit as the first movie, it might not be the last time we see M3GAN and there's already spin-off movie SOULM8TE coming in January, which will expand the universe.

So you might be wondering whether there's any credit scenes in M3GAN 2.0 to tease the future of the titular doll or the upcoming spin-off.

However, we can confirm that M3GAN 2.0 does not have a post-credit scene, or any credit scenes for that matter.

Once the credits start to roll on the sequel, you can leave safe in the knowledge that you won't miss a thing.

As with the first movie, the final scene of M3GAN 2.0 does contain something that has an eye on future movies, but we're keeping spoilers out of here so you'll have to go and see it to find out.

Whether there is a third M3GAN movie or not, don't expect writer/director Gerard Johnstone to come back for it though.

"I just put every single idea I had into M3GAN 2.0," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I would not be surprised if there’s another five of these movies. So, who knows, maybe I’ll come back for the fifth one."

He added to Radio Times: "This is my endpoint. I've been on these films since 2018, when I got the first script, so it's been a really long run for me, and I've put everything I possibly could into this movie for that reason."

But if Allison Williams has her way, there will be a third M3GAN movie despite the lack of a credit scene.

"We have big aspirations of big dreams, and I certainly don't feel like I'm done making these movies with these people and this tonal landscape and the subject matter. So, yeah, I have been dreaming of a third, for sure," she told The Hollywood Reporter.

M3GAN 2.0 is out now in cinemas.
