The new Fantastic Four movie has confirmed its UK release date, and it's sooner than fans expected.

The upcoming Marvel outing will arrive in UK cinemas a whole day before its US release, as many other MCU titles have.

Fans will be able to catch it on the big screen this side of the pond from 24 July, while those based in the US will have to wait until the following day.

Titled The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the hotly-anticipated new movie is the second reboot of Marvel's First Family film series and takes place in the 1960s, in a separate universe to the main MCU.

The film from WandaVision director Matt Shakman stars a stacked cast, including Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Additional cast include Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer and Ralph Ineson and Galactus, as well as John Malkovich, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles.

The new trailer, which you can watch above, confirmed that Kirby's Invisible Woman is pregnant in the movie.

With Reed and Sue about to become parents and Ben and Johnny ready to take on the role of "best uncles ever", the war against villain Galactus immediately ups its stakes.
