Netflix has confirmed a 2025 release window for The Thursday Murder Club movie.
When sharing an update on the big-screen adaptation of his debut novel in September 2024, Richard Osman said that the movie "should be out next year".
However, Netflix has now provided fans with an official confirmation by sharing a sizzle reel of the TV shows and movies set to arrive on the streaming service this year, including The Thursday Murder Club.

While a specific date hasn't been confirmed, Osman previously guessed that the film would release in either the summer or the autumn. He also said that it will arrive in cinemas before its streaming debut.

Osman recently opened up about why he wasn't involved in the film's script, having handed the reigns over to Columbus and Katy Brand.
"It was a deliberate choice because you're either really involved or you're not, and I honestly would rather spend my time writing another book than getting involved in all of that, so I absolutely left them to it," he told BBC's Bookclub earlier this month.
Osman is currently writing the fifth book in the series, which he said will contain a meta in-joke about the Thursday Murder Club movie.
The Thursday Murder Club will release in cinemas in 2025, before arriving on Netflix.
