James Corden has landed his next movie role in the latest project from acclaimed director Steven Soderbergh.
The actor and former late night TV host will star in The Christophers, a dark comedy about two children who get into the forgery business to turn their retired artist father's unfinished works into money.
Alongside Corden, Deadline reports the film will also star Michaela Coel of Chewing Gum and I May Destroy You fame, and the legendary Ian McKellen, known for the likes of The Lord of the Rings and X-Men.

Production on the movie is set to begin in February, around two months after the airing of the long-awaited Gavin & Stacey Christmas special.
Corden has been busy teasing what's to come from the return and recently told Big Issue: "What people are going to see on Christmas Day is the culmination of a 20-year love story, which hopefully shows, if nothing else, that love is complicated and messy and for everyone."

Fellow co-creator and co-star Ruth Jones further teased the special, but with a huge caveat. "I keep telling people this finale might not be what you are expecting. And I guarantee we will definitely not be coming back," she said.

Ahead of the Christmas Day finale, fans will have another opportunity to hear the cast together. A BBC Radio 2 special will be broadcast on December 23 and will feature behind the scenes secrets of the new episode as well as the cast exchanging memories from over the years.
Corden will also announced back in April to be part of the star-studded ensemble cast of the newest Smurfs instalment, officially titled The Smurfs Movie. It's set for release in July 2025.
Gavin & Stacey will be back on BBC One on Christmas Day, while previous episodes can be streamed on BBC iPlayer, U and NOW.
