20th Century Studios has released a first-look photo of Jeremy Allen White in the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere.
The Bear star portrays US music icon Bruce Springsteen in the new movie about his life and work.
Shared on X (formerly Twitter), the photos show White with a shaggy hairdo that Springsteen sported in his younger years, wearing a plaid red shirt and a black leather jacket.

The film – which is now in production – centres on the recording of Springsteen's landmark 1982 solo album Nebraska, with White set to sing as the star in the movie.

"Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Nebraska’ has profoundly shaped my artistic vision," the film's director, Scott Cooper, explained. "The album’s raw, unvarnished portrayal of life’s trials and resilience resonates deeply with me.
"Our film aims to capture that same spirit, bringing Warren Zanes’ compelling narrative of Bruce’s life to the screen with authenticity and hope, honouring Bruce’s legacy in a transformative cinematic experience."
Succession star Jeremy Strong plays Springsteen’s long-time mentor and manager Jon Landau in the biopic. The musician and his manager worked with Cooper during the early development stages of the film.
Landau previously praised White's casting as the singer, often nicknamed The Boss, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
"Oh my god, he’s just perfect. The casting is great," he said of White, adding that he "died and went to heaven" after learning Strong was portraying him on-screen.
Additional cast includes Peaky Blinders star Stephen Graham (who plays Springsteen’s father), plus Odessa Young, Johnny Cannizzaro and Black Bird's Paul Walter Hauser.
Deliver Me From Nowhere will be released in 2025.
