Terrifier 3 has now been unleashed in cinemas as Art the Clown heads out on a Christmas massacre dressed as Santa Claus, obviously.

The horror threequel isn't the end of Art's rampage though as writer/director Damien Leone already let slip at Fantastic Fest that Terrifier 4 is happening.

With that in mind, you might be wondering if there's a credit scene to tease what's next. After all, Terrifier 2 had a credit scene that saw Vicky give birth to Art's head, which directly led into the events of Terrifier 3.

So here's the definitive spoiler-free guide to whether you need to stick around after the credits of Terrifier 3 and whether there's any credit scenes.

Does Terrifier 3 have a post-credit scene?

We can confirm that Terrifier 3 does not have a post-credit scene or any credit scenes that tease what's to come in Terrifier 4.

However, at select screenings in US cinemas, there is a music video after the credits of Ice Nine Kills song 'A Work of Art'. So far though, it's only been at double-bill screenings that took place on October 10.

What to Read Next

It's unclear whether the music video will be added to any other screenings while Terrifier 3 is in cinemas.

You can rest assured though that if you leave when the credits start to roll, you won't be missing anything story-related like you would have with Terrifier 2.

The lack of a Terrifier 3 credit scene might be because Leone isn't completely sure that a fourth movie will happen yet.

"I wasn't supposed to announce it," Leone told GamesRadar+. "Now it's a question of, can I fit everything I want to fit before I get to that finale? Can I fit it in one more movie, or is it maybe going to take me two movies before I get there?"

Assuming Terrifier 3 is a box-office hit like the sequel though, we likely haven't seen the last of Art yet.

Terrifier 3 is out now in cinemas. Terrifier and Terrifier 2 are available to watch on Prime Video.
