Margot Robbie's new film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, has confirmed its release date.
Following the box-office success of Barbie last year, the actor's latest project will land in cinemas on May 9, 2025 (via Deadline).
Robbie will star opposite The Batman's Colin Farrell in the fantasy romance, which is described as an "imaginative tale of two strangers and the extraordinary emotional journey that connects them".
The movie is directed by South Korean filmmaker Kogonada, who worked with Farrell on the sci-fi drama After Yang, and The Menu's Seth Reiss wrote the script.

As well as Robbie and Farrell, the film also stars Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Love & Death's Lily Rabe, Sex Education's Jodie Turner-Smith and newcomer Lucy Thomas.

Earlier this year, Sony Pictures acquired the worldwide rights to the film, which came as a major deal from the European Film Market in Berlin.

"A Big Bold Beautiful Journey by Seth Reiss is such a great script, and together with the superb director Kogonada, the perfect cast of Colin and Margot, and top-flight producers Bradley Thomas, Dan Friedkin and Ryan Friedkin, it is a project from heaven.

It's been a busy year for Robbie, as she is also set to bring the classic board game Monopoly to the big screen with a film adaptation.
Announced at CinemaCon in April, the actor's production company LuckyChap will produce the film alongside Hasbro Entertainment.
Lionsgate is also attached to the project, which currently has no further plot, casting or release date information.
