Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein has landed his next movie role in writer-director Kornel Mundruczó's upcoming drama At the Sea.
The actor has been cast in the film alongside a star-studded ensemble, including Amy Adams (Arrival), Murray Bartlett (The Last of Us), Chloe East (The Fabelmans), Daniel Levy (Schitt's Creek), Jenny Slate (Parks and Recreation) and Rainn Wilson (The Office).
At the Sea will centre on the life of Adams' character Laura, who returns to her family at their holiday beach home after a long rehabilitation (via Deadline).

The official synopsis continues: "There, she must readjust to the complicated life she left behind and face the next chapter without the career that gave her fame, fortune and, most importantly, identity."
Mundruczó is once again teaming up with his Pieces of a Woman collaborator Kata Wéber to co-write the script. Production on the film is now under way outside of Boston.

The actor, who also wrote and executive produced the series, confirmed ahead of the new season's release that the writing team had worked with a three-season arc in mind.
Meanwhile, series star and co-creator Brendan Hunt later confirmed to Digital Spy that the show would be taking a break after its third instalment.
"We definitely saw it as a three-part story and this will be the end of that story. And we treated it as such. Does that mean it's the end of the series? Not necessarily," he said last year.
