Schitt's Creek star Eugene Levy's Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy has been renewed for season three.

Levy is to star in and executive produce the third season of the travel show, Deadline reports, which will see him attempt to create his ultimate travel bucket list across eight episodes.

"Award-winning actor and nervous explorer Eugene Levy steps out of his comfort zone for a whirlwind tour of the world's most beautiful and intriguing destinations," the show description reads.

"I really appreciate what this show is trying to do for me, but to be a real seasoned traveler, you need to have a strong sense of adventure and curiosity, and I'm ashamed to say over the past two seasons I've developed neither," Levy said. "But I have to admit I'm having a lot of fun putting in the effort. So the beat goes on, apparently.”

Season two saw the Schitt's Creek star travel from the north of Europe to the south, where he visited his mother's childhood home in Scotland, joined a fishing expedition around Milos, Greece and went moose-tracking in Sweden. In season one, he confronted "some of his long-held fears" and visited Costa Rica, Finland, Italy, Japan, the Maldives, Portugal, South Africa and the United States.
