Ryan Reynolds loves taking the mick out of Green Lantern, the superhero movie he led back in 2011 which was a critical and commercial failure.
Deadpool 2's credits scene even saw his more successful costumed hero go back and time and murder Reynolds as he was about to read the Green Lantern script, but now he's gone one step further.
In a video posted to his Twitter account, Reynolds jumped on the current 'superhero director's cut' train with his own edit of the 2011 dud, following up from the tweet where he joked that he is going to appear in the Snyder Cut of Justice League.

"Here’s the secret Reynolds Cut of GL you all haven’t been waiting for. In order to make it as great as possible we made some judicious cuts," he wrote.
Mostly, the video is a lot of shots and half-sentences from the film, but also includes Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise as Green Lantern, as well as plopping the hero into Justice League (Cruise was linked to a Green Lantern reboot in early 2017).
What to Read Next
The video is only 27 seconds long, compared to the 114 minutes of the Green Lantern film, which is a big improvement in our eyes.
The appearance of a Green Lantern, although not the one played by Reynolds, is one of things we might expect to see in Zack Snyder's Justice League.
An alien member of the Corps was in the theatrical version, but for about two seconds so it doesn't really count.
Justice League is out now on DVD or Blu-ray.
