BioWare has sought feedback on a possible Mass Effect trilogy remaster.
General manager Aaryn Flynn posted on NeoGAF, looking for input from the forum's users on what they would like to see if the studio were to bring the Mass Effect games to new-gen consoles.
Among the suggested features were 1080p, 60 frames per second and high-resolution textures particularly for the first Mass Effect title.
Having access to all previous downloadable content was also a popular request.
Flynn later said he would be against the idea of implementing the combat mechanics of Mass Effect 3 into the original Mass Effect.
"The 'ME3 combat mechanics in ME1' comes up relatively often, but it's not on my radar," he stated. "First, it would be a helluva lot of work.
"Second, I hate the idea of us being accused of 'retconning' ME1. Third... there are those who prefer ME1. So given [all of] that, it doesn't feel like the right thing to do."
