Any games you got for Christmas that you don't finish by the spring are going to have to go on the backburner, because EA has announced that Mass Effect: Andromeda finally has a release date.
Yep, the hugely awaited fourth instalment of the science fiction series that lets you get sexy with aliens will be released worldwide in March.

In a blog post on the official Mass Effect website, Aaryn Flynn (the General Manager of BioWare, identity fans) reveals the game will be out in North America on March 21 and in Europe on March 23.
Let's hope our pre-orders get delivered early because a lot can be spoiled in those two days.
In the post, Flynn writes: "Over this holiday break, developers at BioWare took home a version of the game in what we call the 'holiday build'.
"This is a longstanding studio tradition that goes back to the early days of the original Mass Effect. Many load up a PC or console and go home to play as much as possible at their leisure.
"Coming back from holiday, the feedback has been great. Getting the endorsement from members of our studio, many of whom played key roles on the original trilogy, was definitely a key factor in helping us lock in on the date."
