Although traditionally a single-player franchise, Zelda has experimented with multiplayer games in the past - and it looks like we could be getting another one in the future.
Producer Eiji Aonuma revealed that he wanted to see the Nintendo franchise develop beyond upcoming game Breath of the Wild.
"I would like to take what I learned from Breath of the Wild and see if we can somehow fuse those learning points into another multiplayer Zelda," Aonuma told IGN.
"For example, with Triforce Heroes, which followed a similar format of Four Swords, there was a multiplayer involved in that game."
He added: "That's definitely a possibility and we will continue to [experiment] throughout the Zelda franchise."
Alongside Four Swords and last year's Triforce Heroes, other games that have used elements of multiplayer in the past include Spirit Tracks and The Wind Waker.
Nintendo unveiled Breath of the Wild at E3, and it is due to be released in 2017.
