Match of the Day: Spain vs Netherlands
A repeat of the 2010 World Cup final, the Netherlands will be hoping to claim some revenge on World Cup holders Spain and cause them some trouble in a group that is one of the most competitive in the tournament.
It's likely to be a much cagier affair than the final of 2010 - don't expect the Dutch to be flying in with the kung-fu kicks and rough house tactics this time - and both teams will probably be content with a draw. There's plenty of interest for England fans as the Dutch team line up with van Persie and new Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal in charge.
Most pundits appear to be writing Spain off as too old, but with Iniesta, Silva, Pique, Alonso and for the first time in a while, a decent striker - Diego Costa - that seems odd. The line of thinking appears to be based on the idea that they're due some tournament bad luck rather than on their quality on the pitch.
Punditry Bingo Watch: "Tiki-taka." "If the Dutch can avoid fighting each other..." "Manchester United fans will be watching with interest..."
One to Watch: How Diego Costa fits in the Spain team will be key. Van Persie and Arjen Robben are still the main men for the Dutch.
Sound like you know what you're talking about down the pub: "I love watching Spain play with the false 9."
Digital Spy prediction: Spain 1 - Netherlands 1
