Modern Family star Nolan Gould knows which character is going to die – and no, he's not telling.
Last month, it was confirmed that the hit sitcom's 10th season would include a "significant" death, and fans have been speculating ever since about who might be bumped off.
Speaking to TMZ, Nolan – who plays the lovable Luke Dunphy on the ABC show – indicated that it isn't his character who meets their maker, but he's still worried in case the writers spring a surprise.
"I know who's gonna die... I know it's not me, but I still think it's kind of me, like they're just gonna write a second death and not tell anyone," he explained.
"That's where my mind goes as a neurotic actor. I immediately called my agent and was like, 'They're gonna kill me off!'"
Co-creator Christopher Lloyd previously explained that the death will have "repercussions across several episodes".

"We do deal with a death, which is certainly a topic that families have to deal with, and on television, it's not easy to do because that's a heavy subject," he said. "But at the same time, it would seem unusual for a family not to go through it."
While it previously seemed as if the comedy would conclude at the end of the current 10th season, it was recently reported that talks were under way for an 11th and final outing.
But sadly, we know someone won't make it that far...
Modern Family airs on ABC in the US and on Sky One in the UK.
