Modern Family star Aubrey Anderson-Emmons has come out as bisexual in a social media post which fans have dubbed "truly iconic".
Best known for her role as Lily Tucker-Pritchett in the ABC sitcom, Anderson-Emmons celebrated Pride month by coming out to fans using an iconic scene from the show.
In the scene, Lily, whose dads Mitchell Pritchett and Cam Tucker (played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet respectively) are gay, confuses sexuality and nationality.
Sofía Vergara's Gloria Delgado-Pritchett tells Lily: "You are Vietnamese." Lily replies: "No, I’m not, I’m gay, I’m gay."
Lily's dad Mitchell responds: "Honey, no, you’re not gay. You are just confused!"
Taking to Instagram to share a video of herself lip-syncing to the hilarious scene, Anderson-Emmons captioned the post: "Happy Pride month to all and to all a good night hehehe."

In another caption, she penned: "People keep joking so much abt me being gay when I literally am (I’m bi)."
Fans took to the comment section to share their congratulations, with some telling her that her on-screen dads would be proud of her.
"Omgggg cam and mitch would be so happy," one fan penned, while another wrote: "Coming out to this audio is truly iconic."
One excited fan said: "LMFAOOOO!!! Mitch and Cam are gonna be so proud!!!" While another penned: "CONGRATS. So happy for you!!!"

Meanwhile, Ferguson recently solved the mystery behind the show's mockumentary format, saying the show initially had a different title.
"[The reason] it was a mockumentary, although we never explained this, was a very early version of Modern Family had a foreign exchange student that had stayed with Mitchell, my character, and [Julie Bowen's] Claire when we were young," he said.
"And he was coming back to do a documentary about this family he lived with when he was a kid, and the title of it was My American Family."
