Popular as Marvel characters like Luke Cage and Daredevil are, there are plenty of fans who are really just after one thing from the studio's TV arm – a Daughters of the Dragon series.
Luke Cage's Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Iron Fist's Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) have gained enormous fan-bases since the shows debuted and they've already shown that they can kick some serious butt together:
So it's no surprise to hear from the head of Marvel's TV shows, Jeph Loeb, that fans are super keen to see more from the women.
"There are certainly great things that we could do with the characters that we have, and anywhere you go, people ask us about Daughters of the Dragon," he told Entertainment Weekly.
"I think that's as much a compliment to those original characters as it is to Jessica and Simone's portrayals, so that's a regular thought."
He continued to share that he gets asked about a Daughters of the Dragon show "daily", adding: "It might be hourly if I had a Twitter account that I had to look at."
What to Read Next
Sadly, it doesn't sound like that potential show is imminent, as Loeb revealed that the studio has enough on its plate at the moment.
"Whenever we introduce a new character ... we always wonder, as it is in the comics, 'Is this a character that could sustain their own story?'
"But right now we do have five series, and that's an enormous responsibility, to continue to tell great stories with Matt and Jessica and Luke and Danny and Frank."
Loeb has also revealed that The Defenders could return one day but featuring different characters other than Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
"No one at any time referred to them as 'The Defenders' — they didn't wear a little 'D' on their belts, and they didn't go to a building that had a big 'Defenders' [sign] in the air," he said.
"They were four mismatched heroes who were joined by a lot of the other heroes that are in the stories that we do on Netflix, but that was that particular story."
