The Paramount Network is finally launching in the UK, meaning more of your favourite US shows have just become even easier to watch.
Viacom International Media Networks UK announced today (June 8) that the new free-to-air channel will (suitably) launch on July 4th. God bless America!
What to Read Next
The Paramount Network is home to Suits and will air the legal drama's seventh season, as well as all the show's previous episodes for those who need to catch up too.
It will also broadcast Kiefer Sutherland drama Designated Survivor, as well as comedy The Mick, which stars It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olsen.
Channel 5's Director of Programmes Ben Frow will be overseeing the channel alongside Jill Offman, EVP Comedy Central and Paramount Network International.
Speaking about the UK launch, Frow said: "Paramount Network is set to deliver high end Hollywood entertainment with blockbuster movies, scripted drama and critically acclaimed comedy featuring some of the biggest names on the planet.
"Supported by Channel 5's creative scheduling and audience insight and underpinned by Viacom's brand-building expertise, Paramount Network is a popular premium content destination in a free-to-air world."
At the moment, both Suits and Designated Survivor can be seen in the UK on streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, with earlier reports suggesting that Designated Survivor was set to air on Channel 5.
In the US, the Paramount Network airs shows including Lip Sync Battle US, and the revival series of Will & Grace, which currently airs on Channel 5 in the UK.
The network is also behind huge blockbuster movies, including the Tom Cruise-starring War of the Worlds and Catch Me If You Can with Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio, so we're already willing to rank Paramount Network highly on our list of favourite Freeview channels.
Paramount Network will be available in the UK on Freeview (57), Sky (159), BT (57) and TalkTalk (57) platforms from July 4.
