The Good Wife spin-off The Good Fight will fight on!
What to Read Next
CBS All Access in the US has officially commissioned a third season, following the sophomore run rounding its corner last week with a timely episode about Donald Trump's infamous Russian dossier.
The second season of The Good Fight has dealt explicitly with the presidency and possible impeachment proceedings, as well as threading a multi-episode arc about a serial killer targeting Chicago lawyers.
CBS All Access vice president Julie McNamara announced the renewal: "The Good Fight is a perfect example of what we strive for a CBS All Access original series to be: thought-provoking, boundary-pushing and, most of all, incredibly entertaining.
"We can't wait to see what [creators] Robert and Michelle King, their creative team and the incomparable cast will bring to audiences in season three."
It remains to be seen if season three will feature a crossover with The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies, who recently revealed that she'd turned down a guest appearance in The Good Fight.
"The reason I declined was because I thought it would be a disservice to those women and they will carry that torch," she explained.
The Good Fight's second season continues on Sundays on CBS All Access, with the season two finale set for May 27 in the US. In the UK, The Good Fight's second season airs on More4.
